Sharmila graduated in Law from the University of Sheffield and soon after pursued her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) at University Malaya.
Sharmila brings with her a wealth of experience across various industries including banking, regulatory and legal services. She worked with a leading financial institution soon after acquiring her professional qualification where she specialised in corporate banking. During her stint in corporate banking, apart from regular credit appraisals of listed entities, she was particularly involved in a number of significant corporate debt restructuring exercises of several main board listed entities affected by the Asian Financial Crisis at the time.
She later joined the Securities Commission, Malaysia where she gained a substantial amount of experience in securities regulation, including drafting and advisory of securities laws. Her principal area of work involved the supervision of market institutions and intermediaries within the regulatory framework of the capital markets before making her foray into legal practice. She then worked with a boutique firm specialising in corporate and commercial disputes for several years prior to joining the firm.
Sharmila is principally involved in corporate advisory and commercial transactional matters of varying complexity. She strives to achieve pragmatic solutions whilst always maintaining a client centric focus.

Shanthiny read law at the University of the West of England, Bristol, before obtaining her Certificate in Legal Practice. She commenced her pupillage at the Firm under the guidance of Vasanthi Rasathurai and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2021.
Shanthiny is actively involved in general dispute resolution, with a particular focus on construction and commercial disputes across all forums of dispute resolution, including arbitration and statutory adjudication proceedings. She is also experienced in managing panelship files for Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).
In addition to her dispute resolution work, Shanthiny also advises and acts on matters related to conveyancing and estate planning, including property transactions, drafting of wills, and applications for Letters of Administration and Grants of Probate.
She has conducted hearings in both the Lower Courts and the High Court and has also assisted in hearings at the Appellate Courts and in arbitration proceedings.

Admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2025, Shavitta holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2023 by The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.
She completed her pupillage at Messrs Jasbeer, Nur & Lee, where she gained exposure to company and commercial law. She is particularly interested in corporate advisory and commercial transactions, and is committed to providing clear, practical legal solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
